USIPIAN Part Ways With Guitarist, Seek Replacement
May 2, 2006Danish "apocalyptic" old-school death metallers USIPIAN have posted the following message on their official web site:
"Tais [guitar] has decided to leave USIPIAN. He has for quite some time been running a tight schedule playing in two bands and at the same time taking care of his family and job. [Unable] to rehearse four days a week he wants to spend more time with his son, and this sadly leaves no time for USIPIAN. We are sorry to se him go, but fully understand his decision. We wish him good luck in the future. It is important to stress though that Tais' departure will NOT affect the process of songwriting. For the last years, he has not contributed much to USIPIAN in any significant way. Of course, we are looking for a replacement. If you think you have what it takes to be a guitarist in USIPIAN, please contact Jeppe ([email protected]) or Nis ([email protected])."
USIPIAN's debut album, "Dead Corner of the Eye", was released in July 2005 via Metal Fortress. The album's artwork was painted by legendary artist Dan Seagrave. Additional vocals on the tracks "Selfless" and "Shadows of the Once Unseen" were provided by by Martin Rosendahl of CORPUS MORTALE.
